Zany ill

My male pembroke welsh corgi, Zany fell ill yesterday. He was rushed to the vet and then upon the vet's recommendation after a simple blood test, we found he had abnormally high white blood cells and low red blood cells. Thus we had to rush him to an animal hospital immediately. He is now hospitalised and I am praying for his speedy recovery. The female corgi, Kiki is alone at home. Though healthy and free of disease, she yearns for Zany's company and his quick return. I blame myself for not sending Zany to a vet earlier. He has shed from a 10kg normal healthy weight to only a mere 7.6kg. My heart was aching and I held him tight in my arms, comforting him, whispering "get well soon". Please pray for my Zany. Thank You.

Childish remarks and Irresponsible Behaviour

Well guys, after all the squabbling, it seems inevitable for me to intervene!
Valdric, my previous post was refering to YOU! I am disappointed after all that you still continue to "attack" "harass" and make "groundless accusations" about your fellow classmates!
By choosing not attending school, your classmates and I are NOT OBLIGED to "INFORM" you about daily occurances in school! It is even disheartening to see you "scream" foul about classmates "insulting" you when it is you who strike the first blow. Ultimately, Valdric you need to pick up on your people skills. I know this will sound harsh, but to see you degenerate to such a state disturbs me. Your immaturity is clearly shown in this blog and I have to ask you to stop posting on the blog if such childish behaviour persists.
For the rest of 1H,I don't agree with some of the personal attacks but I can understand if someone slaps you on the right cheek, there is the URGE to slap back but such vengence seeking will only breed more violence. Please abstain from this. I salute the many pupils who continue to support this class blog! 1H STAY UNITED!

New post/ Respect/Reminders

Dearest 1h, hope you guys are taking a good rest after the straining Mid Yr Exams. The teachers are busy marking and I hope many of you will consider that before you sms me and make ridiculous and wild remarks on the blog. I was disappointed to find individuals acting like a spoilt brat. If you choose not to be in school, it means you DO NOT WANT to participate in our daily activities. It's just that simple. Life is a series of choices and if anyone chooses a path different from the class, I wish them best endeavours ahead. The many posts that some of you have put up are irresponsible and childish. The use of singlish and short forms are strongly discouraged.

This class blog is a form of communication for me and 1H. Please respect this!

Reminder: Please remember to hand in your outstanding WHEEL Program reply slips/edusave forms/cheques/cash and MTP reply slips. Please make an attempt to remember. Remind each other if necessary.

See you guys on Thursday .

LeAD access and other matters

Dear 1H, you are reminded again to check that your lead account works before the end of next week. On the 10th week of school, the school will be launching e-learning week. You will access all your lesson packages, homework and assignments thru' your computer at home. You have to ensure you can access LeAD and also relevant softwares like Chinese software are in working order. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN LEARNING! If you have any problems, pls e-mail me @ pang.louis@yahoo.com
How did the event at ECP go? Did 1H win anything?
Did anyone take any pictures?
Don't forget about the Methodist Walk tomorrow, Sat, 645am at FMSS. Only Angeline (to leave before 11am), Valdric, Marilyn and KangHow have given me valid reasons. The rest are to attend, unless a Medical Certicate given.

Service Learning

How was Mount Faber? Please do tell me or put up pictures of the trip! I would LOVE to hear all the buzz!!! I can't wait to see the class' "Treasure Hunt" project!

Did poorly in test

Hey guys, the class did not do well in this test AGAIN? May I ask the reason why?

The vocab had been taught and out of the 30 vocab tested, I have either covered them in spelling or in wkbook. Did you guys spend time revising? How about doing assessment on your own? Whatever, I do in class is insufficient. Language is a daily affair. You've gotta built on it, use it daily, just like English. The Essay Paragraph was awful. Apparently, many of you still cannot differentiate 工作and做工...I am not happy with the performance of the class at all....

Temporary suspension

Dear all,

I have made the decision to temporary suspend Loysius and Joy from their Class Chairperson and Deputy's duties for a week. Meantime, they are to reflect upon how to establish or set a good role model to the class. It is with great regret and heartache that I have to take such an action.
Oleander , Alvin, Morris and Ren Hann will have to take over their duties until end of suspension period. Class 1H, please aid the class committee over this period of time until Loysius and Joy are able to step up to the job requirements.

Studying Tips

Hey 1H, perhaps you can share some studying tips with your fellow classmates for instance, reading the dictionary (both english AND chinese I HOPE :)) every night for 10 mins before sleeping...
During my Sec school days, I come home about 6pm, quick dinner and shower, finish up homework, watch one hour of tv, revise 2-3hours of academic subjects which require constant reading up/practicing for e.g. math, history, chinese lit etc. Always have a schedule to help regulate your hectic life, especially when it comes to balancing work and leisure. NEVER DEDICATE MORE THAN 8 HOURS IN A WEEK TO THE COMPUTER!!YOU RUN THE MACHINE, NOT THE OTHER WAY ROUND!
